- The purpose of collecting data
The Vempele webstore maintains a record of customers in order to manage customer relations. Personal data is collected only to the extent that is necessary for providing services to the customers.

The data is collected directly from the user when they place an order or create a user account. If a customer contacts Vempele by phone, email or contact form, their information is not stored for longer than is necessary considering the reason of the contact.
We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous data of the visitors of the Vempele website. The application saves information about visited pages, visit duration, the origin of the visit and clicked links. This data is collected to ensure that the site meets the user's needs.
- How long is the data stored
The data of a registered user is stored for as long as the customer relation exists.
The information provided by an unregistered user is stored no longer than 365 days after placing an order. The data is stored so that the order can be checked up afterwards per customer's request.
- Recipient of the personal data
Registered personal data is granted to third parties only when necessary:
a) to provide payment information for our payment service supplier Checkout Finland
b) to provide the given delivery address for our shipping supplier Shipit Oy Ab
c) to provide information for the authorities in accordance with the Finnish legislation
d) to provide information for insurance companies in order to process damage claims
- Right to access own data
The customer has a right to check up their information in the record. The customer may also check up their information by logging into the Vempele webstore.
- Right to request for a revision of incorrect data or deletion of all data
The customer has a right to request for a revision of incorrect information. They can also revise the information by themselves when being logged in on the Vempele site. In addition, the customer is entitled to request for the deletion of their personal data in from the record.
- Right to limit data processing
The customer has a right to limit the processing of their personal data. When such has been requested, the Vempele webstore will no longer process the customer's personal data unless there is a statutory reason to do so.
- Right to transfer data from a system to another
The customer has a right to receive their personal data in a structured form which they can transfer to another data controller.
