Tesla Model Y Installing PPF Protective Films

Install the PPF protective films in a warm and as dust-free environment as possible. Carefully clean the paint surface to be protected from dirt, dust, grease, and any coating. Thorough cleaning helps the film adhere evenly.

Spray mild soapy water onto both the painted surface and the adhesive side of the protective film. Position the film correctly and adjust its placement. Use a squeegee to remove the soapy water trapped under the film from the center toward the edges. Finally, check that no water or air bubbles remain under the edges of the film, and allow the adhesive surface to dry thoroughly.
