Cancellation Policy

The customer has a statutory 14-day right to cancel the transaction. The customer is responsible for the shipping costs of the return. The refund will be made to the card/account from which the original purchase was made. 

The returned goods must be in unused condition for a full refund. Original product packages, if any, must be intact. Tape or address labels shall not be attached directly to the product package. If the customer wants to return the order in whole, all ordered goods as well as their parts and accessories shall be included in the return. Also possible giveaways shall be returned. 

If the customer wants to return a used good, they shall pay for the decrease in value of the good. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that have been modified per customer's request. 

In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must always inform us beforehand by contacting vempele@vempele.fi

We request to return the goods with order information attached to the address provided by our customer service. Keep the receipt from the return as well as the payment receipt. 

Exchange Policy

The customer has a fourteen-day right to exchange goods purchased from Vempele. If you want to exchange a defective good, please read the chapter 'Claims and Transport Damage Reporting'. 

The goods that are sent back as an exchange must be in unused condition. Original product packages, if any, must be intact. Tape or address labels shall not be attached directly to the product package.

If the customer wants to exchange a used good, they shall pay for the decrease in value of the good. The right of exchange does not apply to goods that have been modified per customer's request.

The customer shall place new order for the goods they want in exchange for the original goods. Customer shall return goods to the address that customer service provides. Order will be shipped when we receive exchanged goods. Vempele is not in responsible on shipping costs in exchange.

Claims and Transport Damage Reporting

Regarding all order or shipment related claims, we request to notify us within seven (7) days from receiving the delivery by contacting vempele@vempele.fi. We shall not process claims that have been made later than 7 days after receiving the goods. 

Responsibility of the consignee and goods that have been damaged during the transport: in accordance with the Finnish Road Transport Contract Act (RTCA), the consignee is responsible for inspecting the shipment in connection with the receipt of the delivery. A verifiable remark of externally detectable damage and deficiencies (holes, opened tapes, dents etc.) must be given to the carrier before making a reception note. Ask for a receipt from the carrier and contact our customer service immediately by email. Attach pictures of the damaged goods.  

Hidden damage (that is not externally detectable at the receipt of the delivery) shall be reported to the Vempele customer service within 7 days from receiving the goods with pictures and damage description attached. After 7 days the carrier is no longer responsible for the damage. Damaged or defective goods that are returned shall be packed properly to avoid further damage.
