Is the right-hand taillight on the tailgate in need of replacement, broken, or fogged up? This HELLA LED taillight replaces the car's right inner taillight.

The light is installed on the tailgate. Therefore, it is not an outer tail light installed on the car body or in connection with the rear fender.

Compatibility

• Tesla Model 3: 2019–2023
• Tesla Model Y: 2021–2024
• Installation location: tailgate, right side
• Location: inner taillight

The model year alone isn't always enough to ensure a proper fit. Before ordering, check the Tesla part number and electrical connector of the old light. This is especially important for 2021 model year cars, which may have different connector versions.

Not compatible with the updated Tesla Model 3 Highland or the Model Y Juniper.

HELLA announces the following LED functions for the lamp:

• Rear light
• brake light
• turn signal
• backlight
• backup light

Which side is the right one?

The right side means the right side of the car facing the direction of travel. In Finland, in a left-hand drive car, this is the passenger side.

Is this an inner or outer taillight?

This is the inner tail light mounted on the tailgate. The outer tail light mounted on the car body is a different product.

Are the LED bulbs included in the product?

Light sources are part of the LED luminaire. Standard separately replaceable bulbs are not needed.

Does the connector need to be checked?

Yes. Please check especially for 2021 cars the old light connector and OE number before ordering.
